Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when payments made through BaryoHub, a platform operated by Digital Horizon Solutions Inc., can be refunded or cancelled. Each payment is made up of two parts: the barangay's document fee and the BaryoHub convenience fee.
1. Convenience fee refunds
The BaryoHub convenience fee is refundable if your request is rejected or cancelled before the barangay begins processing it. In that case the full convenience fee is returned to your original payment method.
Once the barangay has started reviewing or processing your request, the convenience fee is non-refundable, because the service — handling and processing your request online — has already been delivered.
2. Barangay document fees
The barangay document fee is set and collected by the issuing barangay. Refunds of the document fee are subject to that barangay's own rules. BaryoHub will help coordinate a document-fee refund where the barangay approves one, but the decision rests with the barangay.
3. Cancelling a request
You can cancel a request from your resident dashboard before the barangay begins processing it. If payment was already made, a cancellation at this stage qualifies for a convenience-fee refund as described above.
4. How to request a refund
If your request was rejected or cancelled and you believe you are owed a refund, email us at support@baryohub.com with your request reference number and the email address used to pay.
Approved convenience-fee refunds are processed back to your original payment method (for example, your GCash e-wallet through Xendit) within 5–10 business days. The exact time it appears in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.
